The North West 200
Just up the road from Roe Park Resort, the Relentless International North West 200 is Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event, attracting crowds in excess of 100,000 and a world-wide audience in the millions.
Taking place annually in May, the North West 200 circuit runs on treacherous public roads between the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine and has the distinction of being one of the fastest road races in the world. In 2010, Scottish rider Stuart Easton smashed the fastest speed record by topping 200mph.
But it's not just the speed that attracts people to this event. The Race Week Festival encompasses a host of family-friendly events, exhibitions and vintage and classic bike displays.
