Roe Park Golf Club enjoys 100k investment at Titleist Open Day
World famous golf brand 'Titleist' recently staged a Demonstrator Day for the first time in the North West region at The Roe Park Resort Golf Club in Limavady which has recently undergone a £100,000 improvement program. The appointment only event was attended by 32 club members who had the opportunity to try out drivers, wedges and all the latest golf equipment on The Roe Park's own 18-hole parkland golf course and driving ranges.
Manager of the Roe Park Resort Golf Club, Terry Kelly said: "Over the course of the past year Roe Park Resort has invested significantly in improving our facilities at the golf club. With a rebranded golf shop, improved outdoor driving range and state of the art indoor range, our members new and old are delighted with the facilities here." Titleist's team from their main fitting centre at Carton House, Dublin was in attendance and brought along the full 2013 equipment range. With Roe Park's state-of-the-art Golf Academy setting the scene for a perfect backdrop, Titleist had the ideal location to showcase their latest equipment which included 913 driver and woods, 712 iron range and the SM4 wedge range.
Another highlight of the Demo Day was the two trackman systems Titleist set up to measure the ball flight and relay the most accurate custom fitting information currently available in the marketplace. As an added bonus, Titleist offered a ball fitting session as part of the custom fit. Resident PGA Golf Pro for Roe Park Golf Club, Michael McCrudden said, "Hosting the first Titleist Fitting Day of this scale in the North West is an added boost to the resort and to our golfing guests and local members.
The Demo Day proved to be a huge success and was the largest custom fitting session ever carried out by Titleist Ireland! " Peter McClelland, Club Fitting Technician, Titleist, said: "I am very impressed with the Roe Park Resort and their investment in their Golf facilities over the past year - especially the Golf Shop and Golf Academy. The proximity to some of the world's greatest links courses, the availability of their own 18-hole parkland course and the facilities at the resort means it's gone right to the top of my list of ideal golf getaways!"
