Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards

The Roe Park Resort, Limavady, has been recognised at the Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards, collecting the Highly Commended Certificate in the Managing Talent Small/Medium Organisation category. A clutch of the North’s most visionary and people-focused companies were honoured in the awards which took place in the spectacular surroundings of Titanic Belfast last week.

Representatives from a cross section of business organisations, both in the public and private sectors, were among the 500-strong audience. A record 20 awards were handed out to household names like Eircom, Allstate NI and O’Neill’s Sportwear and major public sector recipients included Belfast City Council and the NI Civil Service.

George Graham, General Manager at Roe Park Resort said, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted to the last two companies in the Managing Talent category and it is a privilege to receive the highly commended certificate. Being the only premiere Golf & Spa Resort on the North coast, The Roe Park Resort has extremely high standards and it is encouraging to receive recognition at such a prestigious awards ceremony.”

John Brolly, Irish News marketing manager said, “We’ve been overwhelmed yet again by the runaway success of the Workplace & Employment Awards. The high-calibre list of winners proves that, as our economy begins to pick up again, Northern Ireland possesses the visionary leadership and flexible working environment to thrive and prosper.”
