Roe Park Resort crowned Best Spa in Northern Ireland

The Spa at Roe Park Resort received a top accolade at the UK 2015 Good Spa Guide Awards being named ‘Best Spa in Northern Ireland’.

The Limavady based four star hotel fought off competition from the Lough Erne Resort and Galgorm Resort and Spa to claim the coveted title, which was decided by members of the public. Over 60,000 people voted in this year’s competition, which included a regional category for Northern Ireland for the first time since the awards’ inception in 2010.

The Spa at the Roe Park Resort was launched in 2007 and employs 20 staff, offering a range of relaxation treatments and beauty therapies with 12 treatment areas, sauna, steam suite, heated pool and gymnasium. An investment of over £100,000 was recently completed at the resort’s health club together with a £300,000 refurbishment of the resort’s 18 hole golf course.
In addition to the award, the Good Spa Guide praised the Roe Park Resort for its excellent spa experience and facilities, commending the range of luxurious treatments on offer, the parkland golf course, and the resort’s close proximity to areas of outstanding beauty on the North Coast.

Terry Kelly, Golf and Spa Manager at the Roe Park Resort said:

“We are delighted to receive this prestigious award. The Roe Park Resort will be celebrating the ten year anniversary of our popular Spa next year, and we feel this title reflects our passion for outstanding service. We place huge importance on the ‘Spa journey’ of our customers, ensuring they have the very best experience from the moment they make an enquiry until the time they leave us -  feeling refreshed and revitalised.”

“We would like to thank our customers for their support and all those who voted for us in the competition. We recently launched a new loyalty scheme for our Spa, which will reward our loyal customers with increased spending power in the run up to Christmas. We hope this award will help our business go from strength to strength.”
