-Roe Park Resort Housekeeper Richard Clark named Northern Ireland’s ‘Hospitality Cleaning Operative of the Year’ by the British Institute of Cleaning Science
Richard Clark, who has been with Roe Park Resort for almost a decade, was recognised by the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) as ‘Cleaning Operative of the Year’ for the Hospitality Industry at the recent BICSc Awards at Belfast City Hall.
The awards, considered one of the most prestigious events in the cleaning industry’s calendar, saw a 50% increase on last year’s entries celebrating the best talent in the industry for the 16th consecutive year.
Richard impressed judges with his commitment to cleanliness, customer service and team focused mentality. Congratulating Richard on his recent accolade, Mike Marshall, General Manager of the Roe Park Resort said,
“I am delighted to see Richard’s hard work recognised with this accolade. Richard is a team player and an integral part of our housekeeping team with his positive attitude and strong work ethic. A previous ‘Employee of the Month’, it comes as no surprise that the judges were equally as impressed with Richard’s capabilities as we are at the resort. Our housekeeping team strive for excellence in every area of the hotel and we are proud to have such a diverse range of talented individuals in our staff.”
2019 has been another award-winning year for Roe Park Resort, having won two prestigious accolades. The Resort was crowned Ulster’s ‘Family Hotel of the Year’ at the Irish Hotel Awards, winning gold for the third consecutive year, as well as lifting the title of ‘Best Value Resort’ in the Ulster region at the Golfers Guide to Ireland awards.
