Re-Opening Message

We are delighted to announce the Resort will reopen on 

Monday 6th July

We have always taken our standards of hygiene and cleanliness seriously and now more than ever this is a priority for our guests and team. We are following all the necessary guidelines to ensure our guests enjoy a safe and relaxed stay with us. We have introduced new hygiene and safety protocols, that will be visible to our guests throughout their stay. However rest assured all the traditions and rituals that make a stay at Roe Park Resort so memorable, remain in place.

The resort will reopen with a host of new additions to help our guests relax and unwind in comfort. 

Our new Courtyard Restaurant serving lunch and dinner, is the perfect relaxed and spacious setting for a romantic meal or that long-awaited family celebration. Our Head Chef has created a mouth-watering new menu of dishes inspired by the quality, fresh produce available on our doorstep. We cannot wait for you to try it.

We have also added to our self-catering accommodation with The Cottage now available for bookings. The Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 en-suite bedrooms and has a full kitchen and living area, giving you the flexibility and privacy to enjoy a short break at your pace. For larger parties, our second self-catering property, The Lodge sleeps up to 11 guests in 4 double rooms and 1 triple room, all en-suite.

The Coach House Brasserie and The Spa at Roe Park including the sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, gym and changing rooms will remain closed until further notice. This is to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and guests as we cannot promote social distancing in these areas.

The leisure pool will be open and to ensure social distancing, we will be limiting the number of guests using the pool at any one time.

With spacious lounges, luxurious new self-catering options, and acres of woodland to explore in the nearby Roe Valley Country Park, we are well equipped for our guests to enjoy a safe and relaxing stay with us.

The following protocols will be in place for your comfort and peace of mind:

Flexible Booking Policy

  • We understand it is challenging to make plans now therefore to alleviate these concerns, we have temporarily modified our cancellation policy to include a Covid-19 clause.  We will offer you the option of changing the date of your reservation, holding your existing payment as credit against a future booking or offer a full refund.

On Arrival and Departure

  • With the exception of a handshake, a warm smile and welcome still awaits you to the Resort
  • Social distancing guidelines and floor markings will be on display throughout the Resort to guide you safely
  • Bedroom key cards will be sanitised after each stay
  • Cashless payment will be preferred throughout the Resort
  • Our contactless payment amount will be increased to £45.00 and e-mail receipts will be encouraged
  • You will be required to book a 40-minute slot upon check in to the hotel for the leisure pool

Your Room

  • Our housekeeping team will be wearing all the recommended PPE whilst servicing rooms
  • Certain high touch items will be removed from rooms such as magazines and books
  • Guests will be advised to contact reception by telephone for any matters to reduce contact
  • We have implemented an electric fogging sprayer to sanitise all our soft furnishings and curtains
  • An unbroken cleanliness seal will be added to room doors to indicate the above steps have been completed by our housekeeping team

Public Areas

  • Public spaces and high touch points such as handrails, elevator buttons, doorknobs will be sanitised continuously during the day
  • Sanitising stations will be available in all public areas for guest use
  • We have implemented an electric fogging sprayer to sanitise all our soft furnishings and curtains
  • Seating has been revised in all public spaces to promote social distancing
  • Tables and chairs in public spaces will be sanitised thoroughly after each guest use

Dining

  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served in our new Courtyard Restaurant (formerly known as Greens Restaurant)
  • The Coach House will remain closed until further notice
  • Seating has been revised to promote social distancing
  • Paper menus will be utilised and discarded after each use to ensure no contact between guests
  • Tables and chairs will be sanitised thoroughly after each guest use
  • Pre booking for Lunch and Dinner is essential however breakfast can be booked upon check in to the hotel, to allow us to manage the volume of guests and staff within the restaurant and to ensure social distancing

Spa and Leisure

  • The Spa at Roe Park including the sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, gym and changing rooms will remain closed until further notice
  • The leisure pool will be open to hotel guests only
  • To promote social distancing, we will be limiting the number of guests using the leisure pool at any one time
  • You will be required to book a 40-minute slot upon check in to the hotel
  • A constant cleaning regime will be carried out

O’Cahans Bar

  • O’Cahans Bar will provide table service only
  • Seating has been revised to promote social distancing
  • There will be no live music until further notice
