F/T OPERATIONS MANAGER

Reporting to the General Manager
Responsible for all Food & Beverage Operations and hotel
Responsible for managing the Food & Beverage team
Responsible for all management and staff in the absence of General Manager

Successful candidates must have:

6 years hotel-based working
2 years at management level
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Strong understanding of large volume restaurant operations
Passionate and driven with an emphasis on Food & Beverage
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Co-ordinate and manage all Health & Safety and Fire compliance within the resort in conjunction with maintenance department
Can manage change, drive standards and develop the teams
Oversee all Food & Beverage Departments
Computer Literate (databases, MS Office etc)
Track record of human resource development and training
Experience in marketing and promotions relating to hotel operations
Responsible for cost controlling for entire food & beverage department
Financial skills to P&L level accounting
Review financial data and use to improve profitability
Must be well organised, priority focused and very adaptable to change
Hands on approach to everyday running of the resort
An excellent eye for detail

Job Description


FULL-TIME SPA THERAPIST

Successful candidates must have:

ESSENTIAL:

o Fully qualified to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent
o Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Spa/Salon environment
o Must have strong interpersonal abilities and be approachable to clients
o Must be available 7 days a week and flexible with working hours.

DESIRABLE:
o Certified in other beauty areas ie reflexology etc
o Certified in Elemis Product Range
o Proven sales success in the retail or hospitality industry
o Desire to move forward with your own career

P/T FACILITIES ADMINISTRATOR
20 hours per week

Successful candidates must have:

Essential:
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Basic understanding and application of Health & Safety Regulations
Strong and confident IT skills – Outlook, Word, Excel etc
Exceptional communicator with strong telephone skills, able to resolve and address issues as required
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Can co-ordinate on a weekly/monthly basis the following documentation: Water, H&S, Insurance, Fire etc
Ability to work with and manage 3rd parties

Desirable:
Experience in a similar administrative role
Experience working within a facilities role
Previous experience working in construction industry
Level 3 Health & Safety qualification or equivalent
NEBOSH qualification

o GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above) or equivalent
o One year’s previous experience in either the hospitality industry or a bar/restaurant

o Strong interpersonal communication skills with an outgoing personality
o Excellent leadership abilities and can supervise a busy bar team
o Be well motivated, conscientious and able to work on own initiative
o A result driven approach with the abilities to meet/exceed deadlines
o Must be flexible with working hours and available to work unsociable hours including: days/evenings & weekend shifts

Desirable:
o Previous experience dealing with large functions eg weddings
o Knowledge of wines and spirits

CASUAL HOTEL RECEPTIONIST

Successful candidates must have:

Essential:
3 GCSE or equivalent grade C or above (which must include English Language & Maths)
At least 1 years’ experience in a public facing position
Friendly and Professional telephone manner
Strong customer service skills
Have the ability to work on your own initiative and adapt to different guests
Patience and Tact
Have the ability to stay calm under pressure and look after several things at once
Good Problem solving skills
Flexible with working hours and able to work the following shifts: 7.00am 3.30pm/ 12.00noon – 8.30pm / 2.30pm – 11.00pm and other shifts as required
