HOTEL NIGHT PORTER x 16 hrs

Successful candidates must have:

ESSENTIAL

Must have 1 year’s previous experience in a similar position
3 GCSE or equivalent grade A-C (which must include English Language & Maths)
Efficient IT Skills
Excellent customer care and communication skills
Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail
Well motivated, conscientious and able to work on own initiative
Ability to undertake routine security and maintenance checks
Be able to work night shift from 10.30pm – 7am for 2 nights per week.  Flexible with other shifts as required.
Hands on approach to all areas within the hotel

DESIRABLE

Food & Beverage experience
Have experience dealing with customers face-to-face

F/T OPERATIONS MANAGER

Reporting to the General Manager
Responsible for all Food & Beverage Operations and hotel
Responsible for managing the Food & Beverage team
Responsible for all management and staff in the absence of General Manager

Successful candidates must have:

6 years hotel-based working
2 years at management level
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Strong understanding of large volume restaurant operations
Passionate and driven with an emphasis on Food & Beverage
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Co-ordinate and manage all Health & Safety and Fire compliance within the resort in conjunction with maintenance department
Can manage change, drive standards and develop the teams
Oversee all Food & Beverage Departments
Computer Literate (databases, MS Office etc)
Track record of human resource development and training
Experience in marketing and promotions relating to hotel operations
Responsible for cost controlling for entire food & beverage department
Financial skills to P&L level accounting
Review financial data and use to improve profitability
Must be well organised, priority focused and very adaptable to change
Hands on approach to everyday running of the resort
An excellent eye for detail

Job Description

CASUAL BAR STAFF

Successful candidates must have:

Essential:
o GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above) or equivalent
o One year’s previous experience in a bar/restaurant environment
o Excellent customer care and communication skills
o Strong interpersonal communication skills with an outgoing personality
o Be well motivated, conscientious and able to work on own initiative
o Must be flexible with working hours and available to work unsociable hours including: days/evenings & weekend shifts

Desirable:
o Previous experience in a public facing position, preferable food & beverage
o Knowledge of wines and spirits
